BSG’s Jamie Bamber is to star on Chelsea General

Jamie Bamber is keeping himself busy, as he is well known for his role on Syfy’s Battlestar Galactica. While having appearances on House and a steady role on Law& Order: UK, and of course his CSI: Miami gig. And in addition, he was going to star on Precinct 17 on the NBC network, but they unfortunately pulled the plug and didn’t go through with it, so it seems that the British actor is going to go back on cable starring in the shows that are mentioned above.

But there is good news for Jamie Bamber, as according to sources, he will star among the cast of the latest David E. Kelley’s hospital drama on TNT, Chelsea General. This show was picked by TNT, and its storyline revolves around Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s drama Monday Mornings, and it follows the career of 5 surgeons during their medical life, as they are forced to push themselves to the max, and deal with their fears and personal failings.

In this show, Bamber is going to play the role of Dr .Tyler Wilson, who is going to get involved in an emotional relationship with a fellow doctor, played by Jennifer Finnigan. But he will feel lonely on the set of the show, as he isn’t the only BSG former actor to Star in Chelsea General, as he will be accompanied by Tricia Helfer, the ex Cylon from Battlestar Galactica
