Zarek ordered the quorum to be killed. Lee Adama, Gemenon delegate and another one were not among the present who met a tragic fate in the hands of Gaeta and Zarek.
Unfortunately, many of those people who were loyal to Adama met the face of death, as preparation and element of surprise is with Zarek and Gaeta. The loyalty of the crew and the people however, is with Admiral Adama not with Zarek and Gaeta. Later on however, Zarek and Gaeta were executed because of their mutiny against Adama.
