This show was picked by TNT, and its storyline revolves around Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s drama Monday Mornings, and it follows the career of 5 surgeons during their medical life, as they are forced to push themselves to the max, and deal with their fears and personal failings.

In this show, Bamber is going to play the role of Dr .Tyler Wilson, who is going to get involved in an emotional relationship with a fellow doctor, played by Jennifer Finnigan. But he will feel lonely on the set of the show, as he isn’t the only BSG former actor to Star in Chelsea General, as he will be accompanied by Tricia Helfer, the ex Cylon from Battlestar Galactica

During an interview Orloff said, “Don’t be anxious, I will not frak it up,” concerning his thinking on the storied science fiction franchise, a movie that Singer, X-Men director, will be directing for Universal Pictures.

“My take on that movie is quite radical,” said Orloff, giving no further info regarding his handling of the long-developing project which is shrouded in mystery. Battlestar Galactica, a film about a human society doing battle with a cybernetic population on a collection of far-away planets called the 12 Colonies, started as a brief 1970s television series and has now grown to incorporate video games, novels, comic books as well as the Ronald D. Moore serial the cult hit which was aired on SYFY for five years starting from 2004.

Orloff’ has been a longtime fan of “Battlestar” and his background as a screen writer is diverse – it’s more than ten years he penned “Anonymous”, and that script helped him get a gig on Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg’s World War 2 HBO serial Band of Brothers, even though his script was not turned into a movie at the time. And since they were basically on the same issue, they decided to go with the on that was ready to roll.

But in the same report he also said this unexpected decision has actually freed him up to now pursue the Battle Star Galactica project and this according to him has presented some exciting opportunities.

It would be interesting to see how he would go about taking this franchise to another level just as Abram’s did with Start Trek. There are already spin offs to Battle Star Galactica that are still going strong on television but the big screen version is expected to take another angle that should make it a big hit with the big screen just as it has done with television.

The Battle Star Galactica project is being handled by Universal.

To capitalize on the success of the series, a game based on Hollywood franchise was released back in February this year, there are already over five million registered users.

The game boasts of extremely high quality graphics and because it is not depended on any platform engine, gamers can play without even caring about downloading a client.

The players in the game can elect between becoming a human or Cylon and get engaged in the never ending battle to gain the dominance of the universe. The missions in the game are engaging and the overall storyline sufficiently exciting to keep a player busy for several hours at a stretch.

Since the launch, a number of new ships have been added to fleet and a new fleet of Recon ships is poised to bolster the existing power of Cylon and Colonial players. Bigpoint, which is currently developing the games, stresses on improvement in: short-term updates, bug repair, constant optimization and content additions in the long term.

According to produce Sarah Levantine of Bigpoint, “As BSGO continues to evolve; we’re excited to offer new content to the fans and growing community. We listen very closely to what the players ask for and are happy to announce that more features and items, including a number of new ships, are on the way.”

The Recon class ships are scheduled to be available to gamer by the mid of September. Players will have a option to get these new sleekly ships either through Cubits (a fictional currency in the game).

The publishers are also preparing to launch the formidable Brimir Class Carrier sometime during this fall. There are also talks of incorporating elements from the television series to make the gaming experience more realistic.

It has still not been finalized when the show premiers but speculations are that it will hit the television screens some time in early 2012.

Larson further says that part of the net profit made by the TV station out of the show, belong to him. He further said that he came to know of it about one year ago. Larson said that Universal held his money and were still underpaying him. This gives him a reason to demand a huge amount of cash, in the filed lawsuit.

Universal have however not been silent and said that, they are surprised at Larson filling a lawsuit. They said on that he did not make the effort of asking for any money before he went ahead to make this claim.

The Closer actress that portrayed Laura Roslin applauded BBC America’s choice to re-air the show from start beginning later this month, referring to the move as perfect timing.

“One time viewing is simply not adequate because Battlestar is highly loaded,” she said. “Viewers are still so much engaged. People love to speak about it everywhere I go.”

“Ever since the show ended I’ve been to Italy, Australia and Germany to stand in for Battlestar at meetings, and it has been highly exciting and appealing. Those that really like the show can be described as big thinkers.”

She confessed that though she is now occupied with other projects, she constantly misses the time she spent on Battlestar Galactica.

“It’s still very fresh. It is just like when someone you love passes on. Your grieve never ceases.” She said.

“Though no one can take that person’s place, but you are somewhat fulfilled because you’ve known them. You however still feel sad.”

It is now certain that McDonnell will be featured in the sequel of The Closer, TNT’s new drama Major Crimes
The actress has indicated that the legacy of Brenda, her Closer character will be continued by the new series.

The giant network, it is being said, has instead plumped for Grimm. It is a police show with a twist; the fairy tales of Brothers Grimm are real in the new series. This show sounds interesting but 17th Precinct would not have a bad choice either. God knows when again we will get a chance to watch all those stars together again.
